FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR - AIRPLANE COURSE

  1. The cost varies with aircraft used and the aeronautical experience of the learner.
     
  2. This course is designed to prepare the learner to become a Flight Instructor-Airplane.
     
  3. A Commercial Pilot Certificate with instrument rating is required to start this course.  All commercial and private maneuvers must be mastered prior to the check ride with the Examiner.  Transition to the right seat in a complex airplane and the ability to teach, analyze, demonstrate and evaluate a student's flying is emphasized.
     
  4. The following is a sample of the estimated course costs:
    a. Fundamentals of Instruction: Individual Self Study with 2 Review Sessions- 2 hrs each 108
    b. Preparation for the Flight Instructor Airplane Written Examination: Individual Self Study with 4 Review Sessions - 2 hrs each 216
