9 day tour, starting from New York JFK Airport to Helsinki, Finland, then direct to Moscow. Return to JFK from Saint Petersburg, Russia through Helsinki, Finland. Tour Red Square; see Saint Basil's Cathedral.
Tour the Moscow Kremlin and other historic sites.
Visit the beautiful city of Peter the Great (St. Petersburg - formerly Leningrad) called the Venice of the North; see the Palaces of the nobility of early Russia, see the site of the 1917 uprising.
Visit the Hermitage Museum, one of the world's largest collection of art of all types.
Visit the Popov Communications Museum where Dr. Popov did the earliest research on radio communications. He was restricted to disclose further electronic communications research after he published a article that Marconi used to further develop radio communications. The U.S. Navy recently admitted to Dr. Popov's place in history.

Arrive in Moscow, after passport control and customs, then transfer to Ukraina Hotel. The rest of the day free for jet lag adjustment. |

Day 3 |
A full day of sightseeing including a morning Moscow city tour and an afternoon visit to the Kremlin. |

Day 4 |
A full day visit to Star City Space Training Center and the Monino Aviation Museum. |

Day 4 |
Full day at leisure to make visits or go on special tours. Evening transfer to train station for overnight train to Saint Petersburg. |

Day 6 |
Arrival in Saint Petersburg with transfer and breakfast at the hotel. Saint Petersburg city tour. After the tour, return to the Hotel for check in. |

Day 7 |
A full day of sightseeing including Hermitage museum in the morning and the Popov Communications Museum in the afternoon. |

Day 8 |
A full day at leisure to make visits or go on special St. Petersburg tours. |

Day 9 |
Check out of hotel and transfer to airport for flight to Helsinki. Then on to JFK, New York and clearing of US Customs and immigration. |
TOUR COSTS
Include airfare, one meal per day, all transfers, all tours and entrance fees, hotel, first class over night train (Moscow to Saint Petersburg), Russian VISA fee.
$3,000 to $3,100 total cost depends on the number in the group. Single room occupancy supplement is extra. Evening entertainment is no longer included in hotel costs. The travel agent can make reservations for the Moscow Boisoid Theater ($150), circus or other other evening events in Moscow or Saint Petersburg. You can also make reservations at the hotels.

RESERVATION FORM IS DUE BY JANUARY 30, 2008 - With pre-payment check of $250.
The check should be made out to Select Travel Service and mailed to Hulley Aero Training. The check will be forwarded to the Travel Agent during February, and you will be invoiced by the agent for the additional charges. Your passport will be requested to be sent to the Travel Agent. They will process it with the Russian Consulate in New York (included in tour cost). This will take up to four weeks - expediting requires additional charges depending on the remaining time available. You must have at least six months remaining on your Passport on your return date to the U.S. You may need to renew or obtain a new passport. If you can not walk or stand this may not be a good tour for you.
